Dr. Scott Alexander

Dr. Alexander is committed to providing state-of-the-art care to his patients with a personal touch.

Dr. Alexander was born and raised in Idaho.  He is an alumni of the University of Idaho - go Vandals! He received his dental training at the University of Louisville where he was elected to the OKU dental honor society for excellence.  He then completed an additional  3 years of training at Nova Southeastern University to receive his specialty certification in orthodontics.  

Dr. Alexander is very active in the dental community and is committed to staying up to date with the latest in orthodontics.  He teaches new dentists at the local residency in Advanced General Dentistry  and helps to lead a study group for local dentists.  He also serves as the Treasurer for the Idaho State Dental Association.  

When not in the office, Dr. Alexander enjoys music (he even plays guitar in a local band!), white-water rafting, kayaking, fishing, golfing, running, snowboarding, and many other outdoor activities in our gorgeous state.   He lives in Boise with his wife Amber, and their two children, Otis and Beni. 

Dr. Alexander is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and is a diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Mary Hoffman

About Dr. Mary Hoffman

Dr. Hoffman grew up on the coast in Newport, Oregon.  She received her Bachelor’s of Science from Montana State University where she was a pole-vaulter on the Track and Field team.  She then went back to Oregon for her dental training at Oregon Health and Sciences University where graduated 1st in her class and she also became a member of the OKU National Honor Society . She went on to earn her Master of Science in Oral Biology and Certificate in Orthodontics  at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry during her 3 year residency.

Dr. Hoffman is committed to lifelong learning.  She continually attends orthodontic conferences and continuing education courses to provide the most up to date techniques for her patients.  Dr. Hoffman is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and is a diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics. 

Dr. Hoffman enjoys spending time with her husband Ian, who is also from Newport.  They have two sons, Brooks and Lennon and two labradoodles Charley and Ruby.  Outside of the office, she loves spending time outdoors hiking, skiing, and camping.
